A Tale of Twist
He started his journey with just a thought of fleeing away from a devastating ending. It was a past filled with bittersweet memories that started from a dream and ended a nightmare. It was never his intention to end it, but his circumstances forced him to. Without any awareness how to draw a starting line, with his pen on his hand a new path is yet to be drawn.
It was a decade ago when a simple lad with a dream of conquering the world stepped in an unknown world. He had no weapon against adversities that came into his way, but his bold dream kept him moving forward. As he faced his first step towards conquering the world, he was thrown with a huge blockage of towering wall which he tried to climb, but as he pushed himself one ladder after the other, the wall shows no ending. With no more air to breathe, he stopped climbing and took a rest. While resting, he found a new route that led him to another world which he never intended to go, but he needed to divert his unaccepted lost to something that will bring him back on track. Thus, he walked the said path and started a new journey to a new found world. His eyes were mesmerized as he looked around and tried to picture out what this world has that his old world doesn’t. He started finding his place, but everything seems not meant for him. Frustrations hit him hard every time a “NO” is said to him. This did not stop him from trying and every “NO” was just firing him up to keep going until he found his ”YES”. That moment when he heard the word “YES”, happiness covered all those frustrations and finally he settled into a small space of this new world. For him, this was a rough start and definitely deserved a page to be filled out in his life journey. Little by little he found himself a way to be among the people of this new world and from a small space he was given enough space for him to move around. His new role gave him challenges beyond his reach and there are outsiders trying to break his wall just to bring him down. His readiness to face these challenges started to increase as he found the core of his strength and despite others breaking his wall day and night, he kept his composure to build a stronger wall to defend himself from these outsiders trying to hurt him. Years passed and the battle is still ongoing and at some point, the fight is no longer worth it. He thought that the wall he was building no longer holds a safety net because the small cracks brought by the outsiders were growing bigger and can no longer be contained. It was already time to lower down his sword and escape from this world. On his way to the escape route, obstacles were still piling up and he just stood there without giving a fight, watching these obstacles fade away until the path was cleared showing the way to another door within his reach. While walking, he stopped to get a last glimpse of the world that gave him an opportunity to rebuild himself and the world that almost break him. He took all those memories as he continues walking into his way to find a new fitting world. He knew that his experiences from this world gave him enough lessons as he unfolds a new life journey into a new world.
As he unfolds a new page in his life, he holds his pen on his hand and on a piece of paper he started with a dot with a new story to write with life’s ups and downs as part of his colorful journey. Expectations will be different from what reality might give and frustrations over another will be faced, but that’s how life should be lived because that what makes a life a living.
